You and your friends have always been obssessed with the mystery that took place in a town just a few hours from you, [[Williamsburg.]]
After careful planning, you have decided to make the drive there to investigate yourself and record your experience.
The first thing you notice is how intact the town appears, almost too perfect in a disturbing way. The houses are furnished, street lamps still work, and food is left out—yet there’s no sign of human life.
[[Go into a house]] When you walk in, you notice that all the furniture has about an inch of dust piled on top of it.
As you move through the house you hear the sound of something fall upstairs... but the old wooden staircase looks rotted through and potentially dangrous.
Do you
[[Go up the stairs to investigate]]
[[Run out the house]]It was probably just a raccoon...
Catching your breath outside you open your phone and see "Tiktok" and get an idea.
Do you:
[[make a 10 part series exaggerating your experience]]
or
[[ go home]]
The sound was tempting... plus, you aren't scared of ghosts.
But as you start walking up the stairs, they get more unstable.
Do you:
[[Keep going up]]
[[Turn around now|run out the house]](set:$phone to true)
AH! You fall through the stairs and get stuck!
You're bleeding a lot.
You reach for your phone to try to call an ambulance.

Do you:
[[wait until the ambulance arrives]]
[[try and wiggle out]]You turn around and [[Run out the house]] The ambulance comes in just 2 short hours!
After waiting, you get rescued and get taken to the hosptial. AHHHH!
You cut got cut worse... a lot worse.
You bleed out and die before the ambulance can get to you.You record your videos and upload them, telling everyone about how you "escaped the ghost of Williamsburg".
It goes viral and Ellen invites you on her show! It's getting late anyways... plus it's probably smarter to do this with friends. The town was built around a mine in the early 1900s and flourished for decades. However, about twenty years later, the entire town mysteriously vanished—no warning, no bodies, just gone. The government’s investigation concluded nothing unusual, but there’s a rumor that it is now haunted
